Mahjong Connect: what to know before playing

Start Mahjong Connect by looking at the playing area and its controls. Remove matching tiles connected by a path of at most two turns. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Use the opening round to become familiar with the layout. Use the example below to understand a decision.

Try a more deliberate round

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Keep the objective visible.

Your objective

Remove matching tiles connected by a path of at most two turns. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Keep the controls in easy reach.

Follow these playing steps

1. Select equal tiles.
2. The route must cross only empty cells.
3. An outside-border path is allowed.
4. Open connections by removing pairs.
