Letter Link: from controls to your first round

Use a short break to learn the rhythm of Letter Link. Find every target word from the six-letter bank. Use the example below to understand a decision. Identify the playing area and the controls you need. Look at what changes after your first action.

Make words from two letter sets: PLANET and STREAM. Each set uses a selected list of accepted answers.

Practice beyond the first move

Watch the feedback after an action. A message can explain whether the input was accepted or whether a rule needs attention. Use the example to check your reasoning.

The challenge in front of you

Find every target word from the six-letter bank. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. Start with a deliberate move.

The steps to play

  1. Select letters in order, each tile once per word.
  2. Submit the word.
  3. Clear letters to retry.
  4. Find all displayed word lengths.

Using the playing area

Tap letters and Submit word. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. A new-round button replaces the current round.

Put the rules into context

PLANET makes PLANT, PLANE and PETAL. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Verify the rule before continuing.

Keep this in mind

Not every dictionary word is a target in this curated list. A different version of the game may use a different rule. When a decision goes wrong, compare it with the common mistake described below. Start again only when you intend to leave the current round.
