TriPeaks Solitaire: rules and examples

Bring your attention to one round of TriPeaks Solitaire. Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Look at what changes after your first action. Check the rule that explains your first action. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.

Three-peak covered layout with a single-pass draw stock. Free solo play, no wagering.

A small practice goal

After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Notice the feedback after each input.

The challenge in front of you

Remove all three peaks from the tableau. Use the instructions to see which actions move you towards it. Notice how the game responds to your input.

The order of play

  1. Take an exposed card one rank above or below the waste top. Ace and king connect in this edition.
  2. Click an exposed card or eligible pair to remove it.
  3. Draw when useful.
  4. Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.

How to interact with the game

Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Keep the playing area visible while using these controls. Make sure you are interacting with the game rather than the surrounding page.

Put the rules into context

Waste 7 accepts exposed 6 or 8. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Look for the relevant detail.

A useful caution

Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board.
